Since its inception in 1996, TPS has developed cutting edge solutions from Pakistan and currently employs around 300 employees in its Karachi based Head Quarters. TPS has a sister concern in Middle East by the name of TPS Middle East FZ LLC which looks after the area of Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Whereas TPS Pakistan looks after the area of Europe, Africa (except North Africa) and South Asia.

TPS is currently present in more than 70 countries through its resellers and has 135 customers in 35 of those countries. TPS solutions are packaged with some customizations for each customer and are focused on the electronic banking area only. The solutions are for ATM, POS, Inter Bank and Multi Bank Switching & Controllers, Internet Banking, Inward & Outward Remittance Systems, Reconciliation and Settlement and a variety of other related solutions.

TPS is one of the largest IT firms in Pakistan.

ATM and other alternate delivery channels are fast becoming a common thing in Pakistan with many people using the ATMs and POS for various purposes which includes withdrawals, purchases and bill payments.

TPS is also the technology behind Telenor Pakistan[2] Pakistan's EasyPaisa bill payment hub and Ufone[3] USSD based multi-bank mobile banking hub. EasyPaisa has now become the single largest bill payment and funds transfer hub in Pakistan with a transaction volume that exceeds that of the national bill payment hub at 1LINK with a factor of 1 to 100. After the success of 1LINK, TPS was selected to implement an Inter Bank Shared Switch in Bangladesh (OMNIBUS). The OMNIBUS Inter Bank Shared Switch has currently 6 banks connected for reciprocation of ATM related services.

Recently TPS IRIS Multi Institution Financial Middleware was selected by Group BPCE[4] for its operations in Africa starting from Cameroon and Republic of Congo. TPS IRIS is also running Doha Bank's operations in 3 countries and is powering the Commercial Bank of Kuwait's electronic banking infrastructure as well.
